Safeguarding Alert

We have been asked to remind parents and carers to be vigilant to their child's internet activity, have regular and open talks with their child about their internet usage and ensure they have the appropriate security settings in place.  Advice and guidance is available from many sources.

There have been some recent concerns regarding online suicide and advice on this is available via the website 'Think U Know' www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents. Please report any concerns.

Our Centre Internet Provider

When using the internet in the centre, we protect our children by having a filter in place called Studysafe. It works by examining content and blocking harmful material based on a number of measures. Lists from the Home Office and the Internet Watch Foundation are integrated regularly. For more information you can see the Studysafe website here.
