Sales Assistants – Parkgate

Smyth’s Toys is the leading toy retailer in Great Britain with over 80 retail outlets. Understandably, their peak period for business occurs over Christmas. They require recruitment of between 10-15 additional temporary staff per outlet to cover this period.

The posts would start in September and last until the New Year; both full-time and part-time vacancies are available. There is also a requirement for some recruits to work “nights” (actually the early hours of the morning) for which a premium will be paid.

All vacancies will be posted on the Smyth’s Toys website and applications can be made on-line with the facility for applicants to attach a CV.

Seven Steps Support have 4 x Full Time and 2 x Part Time (approx 18-24 hour a week) vacancies for Support Workers.

They are looking for some quite exacting requirements – and I have very much managed the employers expectations in terms of applicants – however, they haven’t had much response from Find a Job and wanted some additional promotion of their vacancies.

They are a Sheffield-based company but these particular roles (2 part time, 4 full time) are specifically based in the Thurcroft area of S66.

This role would be supporting a lady with a large care package, therefore flexibility around the working times/shifts is required but will be discussed with applicants.

The lady has limited communication and multiple diagnosis of learning disabilities and is to be supported in her own home and in services/activities she attends.

The company is registered - and rated 'Good' - by the CQC. They work with both Rotherham and Sheffield councils and currently have approximately 30 members of staff.

There is a lot more information about the company online, on Facebook, Google and their website
