Centre Aims

  • To improve the life chances for our young children and their families
  • To work in partnership with parents/carers to provide a high quality, integrated education and care service for young children by:-
    the provision of a qualified, professional staff team
  • the provision of high quality teaching, resources and service
  • establishing effective partnerships with voluntary agencies, health & social care, other educational establishments and employers
  •  
  • To create a welcoming and open environment where the use of the Centre is positively promoted for all, regardless of social circumstances, ethnicity, ability or gender
  • To provide effective early identification and intervention for vulnerable children and children in need including those with special educational needs and/or disability to ensure equality of opportunity
  • To promote positive interaction between all Centre users and forge strong links with members of the local community and wider reach area
  • To provide a Family Support and Outreach Service for parents and carers in the reach area, which will include information sharing, home visiting, Centre based support and outreach work that meets the ever changing needs of families in the area
  • To provide the opportunity for continual professional development for all Centre staff by participation in appropriate in-service training that meets their individual needs and those of the Centre
  • To be committed to the dissemination of good practice
  • To provide opportunities for adults to access training, develop their skills and gain qualifications which may help them with their return to work
